Detailed Product Description

Chopped strand mat is made from fiberglass strands chopped to length and bonded together with binder.  Chopped strand mat is used primarily for hand lay-up processes, filament winding and press molding of FRP products.  Typical products include bathroom accessories, pipe, building materials, automobiles, furniture and other FRP products. E or C glass products are available.

           Fast Wet-out.

           Even thickness.

           High mechanical strength and high wet strength retention.

Mat products are rolled around a mandrel with an inside diameter of 105mm. Each roll has an ousted diameter of 300mm.  The rolled products are wrapped with plastic bags and placed in hard cardboard boxes.
